National Resources

  • National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA):  This is an excellent site for the general public, which lists all certified child seat technicians and how to locate them.
  • Safety Belt Safe U.S.A. is a family oriented site with frequently asked questions, and most importantly an updated list of child seat recalls.
  • Child Safety Seats: A Guide for Families is an on-line brochure published by The American Academy of Pediatrics. It lists all available child seats and the size child that it would be appropriate and its approximate cost. This is a very helpful guide for parents.
