Physician Associate-Citizen of the Year

The Physician Associate-Citizen of the Year award is presented to a physician assistant who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve the lives of their patients, to advance the practice of medicine, and to strengthen the Oregon communities in which they live and serve.

  

Pat Kenney-Moore, EdD, PA-C |Portland, Oregon

Pat Kenney-Moore EdD, PA-C, Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates, has been a physician assistant/associate for over 30 years, providing primary care in a variety of clinical settings including volunteer work at a free clinic caring for underserved and marginalized patients. In addition, she devoted her career to educating the next generation of physician associates as a founding faculty member of the OHSU PA Program where she served in leadership roles in support of students and the PA profession. She has been actively involved with the OMA as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. Dr. Kenney-Moore also serves on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Medical Education Foundation promoting financial support for MD, DO and PA students in Oregon.
