Hospital and Health System Based Physician Section

We live in interesting times; the practice environment continues to change as we work to meet the demands of health reform and ever diminishing health care dollars while continuing to provide great care to patients. Employed physicians face a unique set of challenges. Fortunately, the OMA is here to help employed physicians meet those challenges through a newly-created Hospital and Health System Based Physician Section. Read more and get involved


OMA Alliance Affiliated Membership Section

The Oregon Medical Association Alliance (OMAA) is an affiliated membership section for physicians' and PAs' spouses and partners statewide dedicated to advocating for a healthy Oregon. The OMA Alliance works in partnership with other OMA members, county medical alliances, and the American Medical Association Alliance. Read more and get involved


Physician Assistant Section

Physician assistants whose supervising physicians are Active or Associate members of the Oregon Medical Association are also eligible for OMA membership. The Physician Assistant Section meets on a regular basis and its members serve on OMA committees. Read more and get involved


Resident and Student Section

The Oregon Medical Association encourages residents and medical students to get involved in organized medicine. This membership section ensures that the interests of residents and medical students are heard by OMA leadership and staff. Residents and medical students are exempt from paying OMA dues. Rural Health Section

The Rural Health Section gives a voice to rural physicians to ensure that rural interests are adequately represented to OMA leaderhsip, your peers and in OMA legislative and advocacy efforts. This section helps create poilcy that makes a difference in the issues that matter most to rural practitioners. Read more and get involved
